It is one of my favorite places in Hong Kong. Supremely photogenic and colorful...but this time, I posted the pictures in black and white because.....................

...............I shot them in the wrong white balance and they were a pain in the ass to correct.
Oppps.
But if you love street and cultural photography, seafood, and need a little break from metropolitan Hong Kong, charge your camera battery, bring your favorite lens, use the correct white balance (ahem), and head to Tai O.
PS. I used Canon 7D + Canon 35mm f/2 for this trip
Here's how to get there:
Tai O Fishing Village, Lantau Island (Outlying Island)
1. Catch ferry from Central Pier 6 (MTR Hong Kong Station Exit E1. Walk through ifc mall) to Mui Wo, then bus 1 to Tai O.
or
2. MTR Tung Chung Station, then bus 11 from Tung Chung Town Centre.
