This bathing picture of baby Marcus cracked me up.
哩張相我覺得好攪笑

The little towel on top of his head kinda reminded us of hot spring public baths in Japan.
Look at his naughty face enjoying his bath, he splashes water all over our tiny bathroom!
傲B好似去左浴場咁..XD

Grandma thought it's time for him to graduate and move on from baths to showers.
呀嫲以為傲B已經可以淋浴...

He's scared and cried at first, but slowly grows to enjoy his showers.
Good boy.
一開始佢勁驚, 但係淋吓淋吓又開心返!

Baby Marcus' Naughty Faces 傲B的"吹咩"面...

Baby Marcus is now 8 months and 3 weeks.
He says "apa pa pa pa pa pa" and "mammm ma ma ma ma" non stop without knowing what they mean.
He cries when we try to remove his toys from his hands.
傲B 差唔多九個月大啦!
依家已經識講爸爸同媽媽, 雖然佢仲未知自己講乜..
依家好惡, 攞佢玩緊既玩具佢會大喊的...

He kinda understands the meaning of "NO" (we say this a lot), but he doesn't always obey it, sometimes he'd laugh so happily when we told him "NO!" (just like in the above picture, we told him not to bite his finger)
佢唔知點解好神奇地好似聽得明"NO", 大部分時間叫"NO"都會停左手頭上做緊既事, 有時會對住你笑, 同睬你都傻...(如圖)

He blows bubbles... (吹咩吹咩?)

Baby Marcus Making A Splash 傳說中嘅傲B已學識奧義BB式

Seeing how baby Marcus splashes around like mad every bath time, making the whole bathroom wet, we couldn't wait to bring him out swimming.
傲B次次沖涼都好興奮咁玩水, 玩到成個廁所都濕晒, 我地諗佢一定係好鐘意玩水啦..XD

We bought him a pair of swimming shorts with a diaper lining. We made a mistake by buying a size too big. Tips to parents, buy an exact fit if possible, or risk cheek exposure :D
新買左條泳褲比傲B, 內連尿片功能(好神奇的說). 諗住買大D冇蝕低, 諗吓諗吓都係買啱啱大細好D, 因為落水再上水好容易Love(甩褲同音..)...



We also bought a pair of floaty balloon thing you put on baby's arms...and there were only girly ones available. Papa, being a shopping hater that he is, refused to look around further, and just bought this little pink number. Sigh...
我地都買左對浮浮手袖, 諗住吹起佢可以一野扔傲B落水..



These pink things intrigued baby Marcus.

對傲B黎講, 都係愛黎食最好

These floaty arm balloons were pretty much useless. They were too big for baby Marcus, and he could still easily dip his head into water...I wouldn't recommend them.
大家如果未買小朋友遊水裝備, 千其唔好買哩個..作用不大...(係七個月大黎講..), 因為佢唔識撐個頭上黎, 照飲泳池水..

We were waiting for the perfect weather to go swimming, last Sunday wasn't perfect, it was cloudy, and it was still a bit too cold, but since we were desperate, we brought him swimming anyway. Luckily, it was sunny when we got there. We were the only ones in the toddler's fun pool. The guards were really strict though. We thought of letting baby Marcus swim in his clothes because it was a bit cold, but the guard reminded us that we had to make him wear a proper swim wear. We might buy a full body swim suit for him...
泳褲就一早買左, 但係天氣就日日都唔好, 一係就落雨, 一係就凍, 等等等, 終於等到上星期日, 雖然個日都仍然係陰天同凍, 但係我地實左認唔住啦!!! 好彩出到去個天即刻出太陽同熱(即係傲B唔係貴人, 唔會招風雨..XD) 去到BB池, 得我地三個人係度...乜人都冇..但係有個好串嘅救生員係喥, 我地一到就行過嚟我地喥下個馬威先, 叫我地同傲B入去更衣室換衫, 唔可以係出面換, 仲要唔比傲B著住衫嚟玩水, 我心諗, 喂, 出面班港女都著住t-shirt黎遊水啦, 怕人望佢呀嘛, 傲B因為凍著住件衫有咩唔得, 但係我地都係算啦, 冇乜幾可帶住傲B去遊水

In the beginning, he was a bit scared of the vast pool of cool water. After we splashed around for a bit, he got used to it and had a bit of fun. We'll bring him again soon when the weather's warmer.
一開始佢係勁驚, 比人撳左個暫停制咁, 郁都唔郁吓, 同平時沖涼完全唔同..我地輪流另起佢係水裏面滑行, 玩左一陣佢就回魂啦, 係咁拍水, 拍完D水花淺到塊面又扁咀, 但係又忍唔住要拍..係咁開心拍, 淺水扁咀, 開心, 唔開心...咁就玩左作個鐘..

We were not allowed to take pictures, but papa managed to steal a shot ;)
泳池係唔比影相同錄影的, 但係見到傲B咁cute,唔理了!!

Baby Marcus & Baby SC 兒時拾趣

The other day, curious baby Marcus explored his high chair a little too much, he got stuck with his leg up. He was trapped, couldn't get back to sitting position. He cried and screamed bloody murder. Being a bad mama that I am, I just had to prolong his misery a second longer and took this shot, because this scene reminded me so much of another scene...
有日傲B玩野, 係張BB櫈上面攪攪震表演雜技, 點知攪攪吓棘住左唔郁得. 咁傲B就出絕招啦, 就係狂喊同大叫..但係作為一個"壞"媽媽, 我攞起嘅唔係傲B, 而係相機..LOL...見佢咁攪法, 唔影真係哂晒 XDD

There's an ongoing debate on whether baby Marcus looks more like SC or me.

好多人仲講緊傲B個樣似邊個..


But look at those two pictures. The same crying face!
Heheheh...or maybe all babies have the same crying face?
但係一比較哩張相就知啦, 一樣樣㗎!
定係個個BB喊嘅時候都係咁樣呢?

A Little Bee at Victoria Peak 肥蜂上樹圖

Easter Sunday, we brought baby Marcus up to the Peak. Actually mama planned to just go up, buy some food, have a picnic, take some pictures and be done with it. But grandma had a different idea, so we ended up...(gasp!) going for a hike! Hiking with a baby + heavy diaper bag + a huge ass DSLR camera? Aiyo! And we didn't bring a stroller... T_T
復活節假期帶左傲B去山頂行山. 原本係諗住野餐, 坐低食吓野, 影吓相, 同陽光玩吓遊戲就返師回朝. 點知嫲嫲竟然無啦啦想行山!?!?!!?...最後, 我地係冇帶BB車, 著住人字施, 帶住部Canon 7D (重過啞鈴) 既情況下, 開始左我地既旅程....


But luckily the trail is very pleasant, there's no steep climbs, it's pretty much flat throughout and very well shaded. We'd highly recommend this trail for those with babies/pets. The trail starts right by the Peak lookout restaurant.
好既係條路都唔係好多上斜落斜, 如果大家都想放吓狗同BB行吓山, 哩條徑OK好行的(記住帶BB車...)


Baby Marcus had a good time, kicking out his legs with glee, munching on his carrier and looking around everywhere...mama, papa and grandma took turns carrying him.
傲B就當然開心了...唔使自己行...開心到係揹帶度跳跳吓, 爸爸媽媽同嫲嫲就輪流揹佢...

When we got to a rest place...we released the little bee to chase after flowers.

Honey to the bee...buzz buzz buzz...
化身為小蜜蜂既傲B, 一見到花就變成辣手催花既蜜蜂...

He made some friends...
估唔到傲B都識到新朋友..


and "climbed" a tree.
以為熊先可以爬樹既就大錯特錯啦..其實蜜蜂都識爬架...XDDD

Actually grandma and papa put him up there. It was papa's idea.

After lunch, we planned to enjoy the view of Hong Kong harbour...
食左D野, 終於有力行吓, 影吓相..


It was a beautiful sunny day and the view was at its best!
