New Bag Love, Polka Dot "Cath Kidston"

I see polka dots.
I feel love.
I walked past this red white cutie once, I resisted.
When I walked past this for the second time, my will power, conscience, strength...out the door they went.
I just had to have it.

I don't care, I think it looks good with everything.

It's light-weight, flattering, in perfect size, and most importantly, it's darn cute.

I'll be carrying this baby a lot this spring/summer.

Bag = "Cath Kidston"?
Jacket = thrifted
Dress = Kwai Chung plaza
Socks = Bossini
Shoes = citi landmark

Boy's Curls

Girls, we aren't the only ones who have to and willing to suffer for beauty.
Check out sc's "before" hair.
It used to be beautifully curled, and now...
Was it just me? Or did he really look like he was wearing a bra on top of his head?
Even sc himself referred to this hair style as a head of cabbage.

All he needed was a trim, but he refused. He wanted to grow his hair longer so that he could have the ultimate curls. Finally, he went for it.

He scribbled down the stylist's address in a hurry...it's no calligraphy...

...and it's incomprehensible. Even sc himself could not decipher his handwriting sometimes.
Fortunately I still remember how to get there.

We consulted the stylist, finally agreed on a style...

....and let the suffering begin!
I left sc alone and went for a little shopping...without sc's eagle eyes prying over my every single purchase. Yay! Hello H&M~ It's been a while.

SC sat...had his hair pulled and twisted and electricuted...

More pulling, more twisting...

...and five hours later...
Voila!

Camera and lens matter.
I am not kidding!

The leftover coloring from a few months ago define the curls nicely.

From cabbage to instant noodles...we like instant noodles.

Now, his stylist told him not to wash his hair every day.
I taught him the perfect way to protect his hair from water in a very manly way...

Shower caps don't make anyone less of a man, right?
Just wear it with fierce expression.

Just like my perpetual quest for a pair of comfy heels, sc has his eternal quest for the perfect hair product...

Numerous trial and errors...
One recommendation after another...
HK$10 to HK$200 a tube/jar...
He ended up with 10 different hair products he hardly even use.

Just like me and my countless pairs of heels I hardly wear.
:P

SC, the Good Father

SC had a new baby.
He "adopted" (I used " " as he spent about HK$5,000 to bring this "baby" home :S) his new baby last Friday, brought it home, fiddled with it the whole night, which means I had no access to our laptop, but it means that the TV was free from Xbox and I had it all to myself.

He frowned in front of the laptop for hours, keeping an eye on "the baby" from time to time, somehow failed to make it work, called the shop, send messages to service centers, etc...and somehow, he couldn't make it work.

Just like worrying for a sick child, he couldn't sleep the whole night. Waking up every two hours to check on "the baby", showering it with lots of love.

What in the name of heck is this "baby"?
Knowing SC, a true techie & gamer freak, is it...a new game console? mobile phone? new app?
Nope. It's a NAS, a Network Attached Storage....in the form of this little white box, near which I should NOT place my drinks, or my stinky feet.

What the heck is a Network Attached Storage?
All I know:
- The technology is nothing new
- It gives us a whole lotta storage space, which I can access via web (I wish it's a shoe storage space)
- It lets SC do things without interfering or slowing down the internet connection of my laptop
- Loads of other good things I couldn't comprehend, but it surely doesn't clean the 1000001 strands of my hair on the floor nor does the laundry, hence not really amazing for me :D

After a sleepless night and a day of more fiddling and worrying about "the baby", arguing with unhelpful technical support, hurrying home after a rushed lunch to check on "the baby", etc... Finally, SC found the problem, solved it, and made it work! Oh, yeah!

Look at the proud papa!

He continued to play with it until the sun went down...and finally, he was ready to make the perfect space for his new baby to sleep (or work?).

Paisley boxers, a pink belt, dirty feet and all...

He's gonna be a good father.

Thanks for taking a good care of me, SC.
Sorry for being a major bitch these days...
...and I am only going to be a bigger bitch until lil' SC arrives.

Snuggly Scarves

What's great for chilly weather such as...now?
These soft, comfy, warm and snuggly scarves!
This el cheapo soft gray number costs just HK$39 from random no name shops all over Hong Kong and it looks great with anything :)

This one...it's not as warm, it's not as soft, but it looks cool as heck. I especially love the zipper detail. Very rocker chic.

...and nothing's more fun than asking sc to pose all over the city, making people wonder if he was a model wannabe (poor thing).

On SC:
Scarf: No name from Kwai Chung Plaza, HK$59
Tee: very old tee from Izzue
Jacket: unknown (he couldn't remember, of course)
skinny jeans: mine, from Fa Yuen St Market, HK$119
Boots: Salem
Bag: Bauhaus
Hat: Uniqlo

I am Back, in Spring Lace

Spring lace?
Ww...wat?
What a load of bullshit.
I wear this el cheapo HK$59 lace dress all seasons.
I wear it on its own in summer...
I wear it on top of warm turtleneck tees with thick tights in winter...
or wear it with thrifted shirts and socks in autumn/spring...
Dry season, rainy season, baseball season, festive season...
Whatever season.

Oh yeh, you might've noticed that I've gone missing for more than a month...ugh! I almost forgot how to add an image in a blog post >.<

Let's discuss that in a whole other post, shall we?

Now, about the outfit...
