Easy & Pretty Storage Necklace

I have a confession to make. I buy necklaces, I buy lots and lots of necklaces.
But I almost NEVER wear them.
One of the reasons is because they are all tangled together into a huge pile of monstrous mess and I hardly can see all of the necklaces that I have.

I saw this necklace storage solution a few times on Pinterest and thought that it is pretty cool, it works, and it's totally doable! So went ahead and did it.

This way, each necklace will have its own hook, the possibility of them getting tangled together is dramatically reduced, and I can look at all of them - it does NOT make choosing easier though :p

Plus, it makes use of my corridor and it looks pretty.

All I had to do was to purchase cheap kitchen railings and hooks from IKEA and get them installed.
This works like magic for me... maybe until I bought many more necklaces I don't need :)

A Geeky Ring - If Only We Could Just Esc

If only we could just Esc
How do you escape?
SC immerses himself in RPG games and social media platforms.
I (obviously) shop.
Or eat.
SC normally hates my shopaholicism.
But he did approve this geeky purchase and was more than happy to wear it.

Unbranded Esc ring, HK$29 from a random unbranded shop in Kwai Chung Plaza.

His & Hers - H&M Knit Jacket & Furry Hat

I love this men's chunky knitted jacket. Actually I love the double breasted ones, but this one was on hugeee sale (HK$149 vs double breasted HK$399). I couldn't resist such a bargain, so I had to get the one on sale for myself SC.
His & Hers - H&M Knit Sweater & Furry Hat

This furry hat? Love at first sight.
I asked SC to try it on and I think it looks so damn good!
His & Hers - H&M Knit Sweater & Furry Hat
Not practical?
Hong Kong never gets that cold?
We'd look ridiculous wearing this on the streets of Hong Kong?
Of course.
But still, I bought it immediately.
SC was playing PSP when I did.
Heheheh

Under the sweater, stripes, polka dotted tie.
There's something about men and polka dot that I love SO much!
His & Hers - H&M Knit Sweater & Furry Hat
Another stripes on the skinny jeans. My skinny jeans.

And I was inspired by fashion shots with harsh flash light, I tried to do some...
His & Hers - H&M Knit Sweater & Furry Hat
Obviously I need practice.

I wore my version with a vintage dress under the jacket.

Vintage Lensless Glasses

Current favorite squeeze...
Vintage Lensless Glasses
A pair of vintage lensless glasses!

What?
Stupid? Ridiculous? Silly? Crazy?
Vintage Lensless Glasses
Who cares!
They don't have cheap plastic lenses that make my head spin, they look good with my new bob, they make my face look smaller...

Whatever makes me cuter = good!
I need all the help I could get :p

Vintage lensless glasses = gift from my sis

Round Rimmed Specs

Round Rimmed Specs
I love hiding behind large pair of glasses.
They make my face looks smaller.
They make my eye bags less noticeable.
They make my lousy eye make up not as obvious.
They make me look cooler (at least that's what I hope).

This pair is the latest one I got from Kwai Chung Plaza for HK$38.

Chubby Chic - Faux Fur Bagcessory

Chubby Chic - Faux Fur Accent
Miss Chubby Chic is back!...and she's sporting a trend which I found adorable...faux fur bagcessory!

It's cheap (we never do real fur), it's light (I find metal/crystal/hardware bagcessories too heavy!)...
Chubby Chic - Faux Fur Accent
...and it's super cool!

Plus...you can "accidentally" attach it on someone's ass and have a good laugh

Pretty in Pink

Pink Porcelain & Glass Containers
I am a sucker for pretty glass and porcelain containers...and look what I've bought!
The two glass containers are from Franc Franc, they were on sale!...and the heart shaped porcelain container with roses is from a random Hong Kong souvenir shop in one of those lanes of Central.
All cheap, they prettify my home (that's not even a word?) and they keep my rubbish... disorganized (as I forgot what I put in them) ^_^'

I Must Be Mad - Hello Kitty iPhone Case

I've told you about my recent Hello Kitty madness.
Hello Kitty iPhone & Blackberry Case
It started with t-shirts...and now, despite swearing to keep my iPhone white naked, I've done the unforgivable thing, putting on a Hello Kitty "outfit" on my iPhone.
Opps.

Funnily, at the same time...my sis is having her own Hello Kitty moment too!
Check out her Blackberry case...
Hello Kitty iPhone & Blackberry Case
This drove SC mad...

...and here are his reactions...

Grrrr....

...and...

Cute.
I've even bought Hello Kitty mooncakes to celebrate this year's mid autumn festival :D

Matchy Matchy Tulle Flower Headband

Guess what?
P8281213
Turns out...I have a matchy-matchy top to match my tulle flower headband...and wore this to a dinner date last weekend :D

So many people were staring at...either me and my ridiculous giant headband...or SC, who was clad head to toe in my clothes...hmmm~
Tulle Flower Headband
I don't think I looked that ridiculous?...
Or did I?

Look at these colorful treats from H&M...how could I ever resist them?
They'd spice up my colorful summer dresses, plain tunics, bathing suits, humble ol' t-shirts, and my fugly maternity wear ^_^

Here are some color combos that I like...

New Bag Love, Polka Dot "Cath Kidston"

I see polka dots.
I feel love.
I walked past this red white cutie once, I resisted.
When I walked past this for the second time, my will power, conscience, strength...out the door they went.
I just had to have it.

I don't care, I think it looks good with everything.

It's light-weight, flattering, in perfect size, and most importantly, it's darn cute.

I'll be carrying this baby a lot this spring/summer.

Bag = "Cath Kidston"?
Jacket = thrifted
Dress = Kwai Chung plaza
Socks = Bossini

Snuggly Scarves

What's great for chilly weather such as...now?
These soft, comfy, warm and snuggly scarves!
This el cheapo soft gray number costs just HK$39 from random no name shops all over Hong Kong and it looks great with anything :)

This one...it's not as warm, it's not as soft, but it looks cool as heck. I especially love the zipper detail. Very rocker chic.

...and nothing's more fun than asking sc to pose all over the city, making people wonder if he was a model wannabe (poor thing).

On SC:
Scarf: No name from Kwai Chung Plaza, HK$59
Tee: very old tee from Izzue
Jacket: unknown (he couldn't remember, of course)
skinny jeans: mine, from Fa Yuen St Market, HK$119
Boots: Salem
Bag: Bauhaus
Hat: Uniqlo

Chinese Face Powder Box or Jewelry Box

My current favorite jewelry box.
I am sure some of you are familiar with this box.
I used to think the girl on the box looks creepy.
But now I love her, love the colors, love the pretty pattern on the sides....

Love the inside part of the box, and the content too :D

Touches of Red

Hmmmm...what's for dinner?

Cup noodles? Nah...it won't satisfy me. Maybe for midnight snack later.

Loving my new white brown striped cotton skirt. It's comfy, flatters me, hide the parts I needed to hide, and it has two cute invisible little pockets! As usual, I love colors. You'll see a sea of blacks and greys all over Hong Kong in winter, and you'll see me in an explosion of colors still. I added touches of reds here and there.

Turtleneck tee = U2, circa 3 winters ago
Skirt = Brown and white striped cotton full skirt, from Cotton On, HK$50
Tights = grey tights, Ladies Market HK$29
Shoes = mustard green from Vincci, KL
Clutch = from H&M, HK$29
Necklaces = orange and red, from Argyle Center, HK$20 each
Earrings = from Argyle Center, HK$5 each
