My Favorite Spikey Necklace & Landscape Vintage Shirt

First of all, I look much better when blurry, dontcha think?


This is my current favorite necklace. Well it's not mine, actually. It's SC's necklace, but I love borrowing it all the time :D


And although autumn is here, I still love summer colors, such as this pretty coral for my nails.


And I love the landscape pattern on this vintage shirt. Wore it with a pair of comfy shorts, for a lunch and vintage store hopping with my lovely girlfriends.

A Grayscale Friday

I hardly wear anything grayscale. I didn't realize it but I didn't have anything bright colored today! Oh, it feels special! I still slap on different patterns tho ;)

Today's outfit I wear to work, another thrifted find!

I love how it fits, it's roomy but still flattering when cinched at the waist, and I don't know what's with me and berry shades, I paired this with berry shades again (the shoes and the bag - ouch, the bag isn't in the picture, but it's the monki bag I've been wearing these last few days)

Zara Denim Skirt #365FASHIONSHUFFLE

I almost bought this skirt when it was sold full price at HK$399!!! Luckily I didn't, because it was discounted down to HK$89!!! When I saw it, and there's one in my size, I grabbed it without thinking ^_^
Very very pleased with this buy.

I thought a shot with flash might look something like what you see in Marc Jacob's ads, but of course, obviously, NOT in the above shot. Heeheheheh

I was gonna wear a pair of Argyle socks, but I think I'd bore you to death if I wore yet another pair of argyle socks.

...so I put on this pair of cheesy knee high socks with little pink hearts on it ^_^

I am having yet another bad hair day.

That explains the little gingham checkered bow hair clip.
It is highly inappropriate for work, even on a casual Friday, so I replaced it with a plain black pin once I get to the office. I added a pair of huge lensless vintage glasses to balance my chubby cheeks.

Happy Almost CNY Weekend #365FASHIONSHUFFLE

Now that we're new parents, all we do on weekends is finding another baby friendly mall to visit. Last weekend, we went to Olympian City and took a few pictures with the crappy Chinese New Year decor. Now I am all pumped up to find better CNY decor to photograph...let's see if Marcus is happy enough to go out. These days he's started teething...thus, he's been cranky as hell! Poor baby :(

Her Casual Batik - #365FASHIONSHUFFLE

I often wear batik in Hong Kong, and I asked a few friends from #365fashionshuffle to wear batik together. This is mine.

It's still a bit cold, so I put on a comfy cotton striped turtleneck tee...

...with puffy vest on top...

...and wore knee high argyle socks.

I love this batik dress because it's fits me comfortably, not too fitted, hides my hips very well, it can be cinched at the waist and the puffy sleeves help balancing my huge lower body.

This moccasins had been unworn for quite a while.

Today they get to go out and see Hong Kong ^_^

Wore this ensemble to lunch today...quite a mistake. Despite looking really warm, the leg warmer isn't exactly warm. Oppps.

The Uniqlo fleece shirt is borrowed from SC, it's really comfy and the pattern is really now ;)

Thank God SC is not wearing one of his Monster Hunter Uniqlo tees again today.
He vowed to wear them the whole year, and trust me, he almost did, if it wasn't for work.

Today he wore his plaid shirt with this military inspired jacket we bought for only for HK$100something from  i.t. outlet, my skinny jeans (which is now has become more of his jeans than mine, as he's always wearing them) and his favorite black boots.

Obviously, we don't iron our clothes.

Yay to Casual Fridays! I went out to work this morning thinking that the temperature would be around 11C...

...thus the layers of thick clothes.

But in the end, it was a beautiful sunny day, with the maximum temperature of 18C.

...thus I shed the sweater.



And I still felt too warm, so I took of my puffy vest and put the sweater back.

As always, I like to mix patterns, although the pattern mix isn't so severe in this outfit. Checkered shirt, polka dotted bow, and argyle patterned light sweater. The shirt and sweater were borrowed from SC. You know we love sharing clothes :)
