your curls should loosen after a few wash and i believed khaleesi's curls were enhanced with curling tong.

I think one of the biggest diff is that the very bottom of khaleesi's hair is curled...
Was this from a salon? I got a perm and wanted nice loose curls like TVB stars' ones and got crazy tight gross curls =*(
